RAW Entrepreneurs began as a simple desire for connection. While living in the U.S., Australian entrepreneur Cara Kelley found herself navigating the challenges of being a mother, a business owner, and a foreigner living in a small town —all while feeling deeply isolated. Though she had an incredibly supportive husband, she longed for a space where like-minded women could come together, not just to talk about business, but to be real about the highs and lows of life.

She vividly remembers attending a networking event in the early days of starting a new business, feeling lost when asked, “So, what do you do?” The truth was—she didn’t know yet. Entrepreneurship is a rollercoaster, full of incredible highs and tough, lonely seasons. Cara wanted a space where women could take off the mask, share their journeys openly, and be supported both personally and professionally.

RAW Entrepreneurs was born from this need for authenticity and community. What started as a small gathering of 11 women in Monument, Colorado, quickly grew to 80 women signed up in just a few weeks. Within a year, RAW had hosted over 30 meetups, with more than 300 attendees. What Cara hadn’t expected was the depth of connection, networking, and collaboration that would unfold—proving that when women support each other, everyone thrives.
